18th March 2015

Dear Parents/ Guardians

Continuing our Celebrations topic this term we have organised a trip for Class 1 & 2 to visit St David's Cathedral on Wednesday 25th March 2015.

The children will be extending their studies of the Easter Story and participation in activities  through the cathedral. In the afternoon the children get a chance to work with a local artist, Deborah Withey for an art and craft session.

The children will be transported by coach leaving Orielton School at 9.00am and will return to school before the end of the school day. There will be no cooked dinners available from the school canteen as children will be out the whole day, please have your child bring packed lunch & plenty to drink. Also children should be wearing school uniform, a coat and sensible footwear.

The organisers at the cathedral have asked if they can take general photos of the event and children participating in the activities for display in the cathedral, newsletters and publicity. Please indicate on the permission slip if you give your consent for the use of photos in this manner.

There is a cost of £4 per child for the trip. Please could you indicate on the slip below as to whether you would like your child to take part in this trip.

Best wishes

Tim Reed
