Dear Parent / Guardian


A visit has been arranged for Class 2 to Castell Henllys Iron Age Village, near Eglwyswrw, on Monday 7th March 2016. We will be looking at the daily life of Iron Age Celts, which ties into the National Curriculum.

Pupils and staff will leave Orielton School, via a Silcox coach, at 9.30am. They will depart Castell Henllys at 2.30pm and will be back at Orielton by the end of the school  day.

  • Pupils should wear warm suitable clothing, bring waterproof coat and strong footwear.
  • Pupils are also required to bring a packed lunch, drinks and snacks.

To make this educational visit viable we are asking parents / guardians for a contribution towards entry fee / transport costs of 5.00 per child.

If you would like your child to participate in this visit please complete the consent form and return it to school to school no later than Thursday 3rd March 2016.
